we believe that every video has a sliding scale. On one end is the TRANSFER OF INFORMATION and on the other end is ENGAGEMENT OF THE EMOTIONS [so that learning can be made personal].
If the Eureka Math context videos are 80% Emotional and 20% informational, the videos we made for Pearson are 100% Informational, and are made more engaging by long time Math teacher and on camera personality, Elayn Martin Gay.
We teamed up with Elayn and fellow Baton Rouge production company, elbow room to design a video system for the 8th Edition of Pearson’s College Algebra.
The resulting videos were highly utilitarian, and will serve as an online value add for years to come.
